Description
The moon begins to dawn, it is her turn to shine.Trying something new with how I paint -sort of- ... it is still scribbles and dots and dashes, but with colors that are more closely related (usually I use a dark and an extreme light for a more painterly look)
Print size is 20x20inches.
larger view has a better shot of the faces.
T-shirt catagory = goddesses

Foot: That's an idea -g- kind of like a 'dawn' or 'evening' kind of merging it would make.
not in this one though, i wanted them seperate.. I almost made it two paintings, but I didn't think it'd work out.

patato.. i was thinking of doing that.. but then it would unbalance the image too much, i think.

This is a very nicely designed. I like the limited palette and the stylization of the figures.

One thing: the hair of the blue figure is the only really dark part of the piece, making it the 'heavy' part of the picture. I think you could add some other darker elements around the piece to balance it out.

Is it possible to buy a print of it?

Thank you for the comments.. As for the moon getting all the attention, she's supposed to.. If I do another piece, it'll be the sun getting all the attention (Moon is rising, sun setting, fading away.)

Have you noticed that all the forces of nature seem to be represented by females in your art? (of course you have, but is there any deeper point you're making of it?)

I love the simple color scheme that you're using here - - - its somewhat analogue to a piece that I was putting together in Poser/Bryce/Max - - - it kinda got shelved, but I may go on to fix it and finsih it one of these days - - - - on this piece, it reminds me a lot of the fairy tale about Snow White and Rose Red - - - the very color scheme and the opposing directions of both women - I love it!

Why it doesn't work for the general public. Because they are eedjits. It's too graphic and fabulous and perfect. I'm sorry it makes me want to cry.
